Logins are only available to registered members of Film Independent. If you are a registered member, you should have received an email with your username and pin number to access the site.
From the streaming site film list (http://isa.bside.com/), click 'log in,' located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen above the search entry field. Here you can use your registered email address and the pin number you received to login to the site.
You will know you're logged in when the 'log in' link at the top-right of the page changes to read 'Hi --username--.'
NOTE: No long-term cookies are stored on any client PC, you will be required to login each time you visit the site.

Each nominee has its own page within the streaming video site. You can browse through the nominees by visiting http://isa.bside.com/, or by using the search functionality present on each page.
Once you've landed on the nominee's web page, you will see a large media player at the top of the screen with a white, triangular 'play' button. This button mimics the look of the button on your DVD player at home. Click 'play' to start the film. The film may take 10 - 15 seconds to begin playing.
Remember that you can play the video in full-screen mode by clicking on the button beneath the media player on the lower right hand side next to the volume control.
NOTE: You'll notice multiple watermarks on each video. These watermarks are created individually for each user and encoded into the bitstream of the video.

All movies are streamed using Adobe Flash. Flash is a cross-platform technology, friendly to both Macintosh and PC users, across all the major browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.). In order to watch the movies, you'll want to have Flash Player version 9 or higher installed.
You can check your Flash version here. If you do not have version 9,0,0,0 or greater, you can download it here.
Macintosh Users: You will need a high-speed internet connection (cable modem, DSL or higher). PowerMac, MacBook Pro, Powerbook, iBook are recommended models running Mac OS 10.1 or higher, with at least 512MB of RAM running at a resolution of 1024x768 or higher using the 'millions' of colors setting. You can find these settings in the System Preferences under 'Displays.'
Windows Users: You will need a high-speed internet connection (cable modem, DSL or higher). Intel Pentium 4 or higher processors are recommended, running Windows XP with 512MB RAM or Vista 1GB RAM, at a resolution of 1024x768 or higher.
